He is particularly interested in exploring the ways ideological discourse is reproduced and undermined in literary text.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4f4f4f;\">He was the supervisor of <\/span><span style=\"color: #4f4f4f;\">the research projects entitled <em>Modernism, Postmodernism and the English Short Story, <\/em>funded by the Galician Regional Government for the period 2008-2011, and <a href=\"http:\/\/womenstales.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><span style=\"color: #7a10a0;\">Women\u2019s Tales: The Short Fiction of Contemporary British Writers<\/span><\/em><\/a>, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness for the period 2015-2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4f4f4f;\">Sacido-Romero is Senior Lecturer in English at the Department of English and German Philology of the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
